Dental or oral hygiene is a systematic approach in which Dental Hygienist uses 5 basic key behaviours, which are: Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation for maintaining a good oral hygiene for both teeth and gums and for getting a happy smile with a healthy mouth. Common problems seen if not taken proper care are:

  • Dental Caries (Cavities)
  • Dental Fluorosis
  • Gingivitis
  • Dental Plaque
  • Halitosis (Bad Breath)
